Established in 2016, La Jaiba Seafood & Taqueria is located at 11941 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, Ohio. Founded by Saira and Robert Valerio, the couple has made their mark on Cincinnati-based Mexican restaurants. Using only fresh, high-quality ingredients, they offer dozens of unique menu options to suit your taste buds! High-school sweethearts, Saira and Robert have been together for over 21 years and have three children together named Joshua, Mateo, and Isabella.

In the mid-1980’s, Saira and Robert moved from Michoacán, Mexico to Los Angeles, California in pursuit of careers that would help them reach their dreams. Fast-forward to 2016 and one of their biggest dreams came true; opening a restaurant and sharing authentic family recipes with their community.

Reflecting on their journey of life, some of their favorite memories include spending time with abuelitos (grandparents) learning about their heritage and culture while also enjoying the lush forests and numerous bird and mammal species that adorn the coast and lands of Michoacán. Present day, they spend most of their time at the restaurant but try to make time to have fun with friends and family.
